AbstractThis study aims to develop an instrument for measuring teacher achievement motivation. Teachers are required to have the creativity and be able to innovate in developing continuous learning. This of course would not be possible by the teacher if the teacher does not have the high motivation or what is often referred to as achievement motivation. Achievement motivation evaluation has not been done much, but it is still limited to a qualitative assessment and is not measurable. This research used the Research and Development method. Develop items based on indicators, check the validity and reliability of approved items, and develop the quality of approved items. Participants in this study were 70 respondents of private elementary school teachers in the city of Bogor. Item recognizes as many as 40 using the Likert scale to measure teacher achievement motivation. A total of 29 items met valid criteria with a good consistency (Alpha-Cronbach coefficient 0.88). Based on these values, it can be concluded that the measurement instruments developed in this study provide an objective measure for teacher achievement motivation.
